Cpt Scarlet's post delves into the granular dial finish of the Patek Philippe 5326G, a feature that sparked considerable discussion upon its release. This article explores the community's immediate reactions to this distinctive dial and its broader implications for contemporary watch design. Cpt Scarlet prompts readers to consider which other manufactures have utilized similar finishes, inviting a comparative look at horological aesthetics.

And I'm not a huge fan of the flattened out portion of this dial for the Patek Philippe Geneve lines of text, makes that area look like a "bald spot" in my eyes. But I am pleased with how they made the case! It's a great looking case! And overall, a super casual watch with this dial and strap combination. Perfect for the "more relaxed" lifestyle supposedly coming after the pandemic.
I'd have to see it, but so far I'm with you!
Habring Erwin Pilot. Even the straps look very similar. In pictures, the PP granular dial looks very plasticky for its price point.
