The only real alternative is from Chopard which I think is better as the movement in completely inhouse (I believe this has an outsourced movement with an in house module) but for the price, cant be beat

It’s great achievement and looks beautiful.
I was planning to write a review...dident get oround to do it yet...I truly love the watch! For the asthetics, the great finishing and above all the chiming device...it is so phenomenal...when u are sitting and are doing something...and suddenly you hear this 'ding' and you realize that another hour has passed...priceless!!! The only negative is the poor legibilitiy...at least of the salmon dial modell...at the beginning it was a real issue for me however I now find that I got used to it in the
I've helped many friends acquire this watch and most of them are fairly happy with it. It's not high horology overall, and it is somewhat crude in certain areas like case construction, but the price tag is reasonable for the level of complication.
It's done efficiently, it's done well, it's not too difficult to manufacture, controlled by a column wheel, and it's going to be fairly reliable. Architecturally, the module looks nice and looks somewhat symmetrical as a bonus, might not be very shock resistant though. I remember from our JLC trip that you organized Amanico, that a lot of the problems come from the hammer not retracting from the gong quick enough - stifling the sound in the process. So hopefully, Christopher Ward addressed that.
