M4's latest acquisition, the Lorige BL-E, stands out not just for its striking design but for its unique provenance, with a case machined from a Cadillac brake pad used in the 2019 Sebring endurance race. This post delves into the personal connection and horological significance of this rare timepiece, especially as M4 joins a fellow collector in owning both this specific Lorige model and a Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. The discussion highlights the blend of automotive passion and high-end watchmaking that defines this special edition.

This is another very special (Cadillac) and good looking Lorige BL-E! The watch fits your wrist perfectly. And the automotive/racing theme is powerfully executed. I’m sure Michael will be thrilled that you joined him in this Lorige-Cadillac adventure! Best, Emmanuel
Amazing how it has worked out that we both have the already legendary manual shifting CT5-V Blackwing, and the Lorige BL-E 2019 Cadillac pads edition! As I understand it, only 2 pieces of the 50 piece edition will use the Cadillac pad. And even if not, I have found mine so special to couple with the car. Americana at its best, with a heavy dose of Swiss! I did not expect us to have a club so quickly, but I'm thrilled you made the decision to buy one. Onward we go, my friend!
We should all be in the dictionary one day!
To the Master who never sleeps!!
Being Vladded is certainly part of the fun !
