Chronometer (aka yacomino) introduces his latest acquisition, the Longines Sector Dial, a piece he's long admired. This article delves into why this particular Longines model, alongside his beloved Tuxedo Dial, holds a special place in his collection, offering an intimate look at its appeal and performance. His post sparks a discussion among collectors about Longines' vintage-inspired offerings and movement quality.

This is my second Longines, after the tuxedo dial which I enjoy immensely.  I have always loved their sector dial and not sure why I did not get it sooner.  Here are two quick pictures but will post more soon!

Longines really did well with these vintage inspired releases. If they spend a little more effort on the movements, I think they will appeal to more collectors. Congrats Mr Strap Master ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿพ๐Ÿฅ‚

While itโ€™s a ETA model (apparently a special version reserved to Longines) it was fitted with a silicon spring. Donโ€™t expect good finishing at this price point but my Tuxedo is +-2sec/day which is excellent and unexpected!
