Nicolas (amanico) shares an intimate look at his Longines Majetek, a watch he's owned for over a decade and is now rediscovering with renewed appreciation. His stunning photography highlights the watch's enduring character and excellent condition, inviting fellow collectors to reflect on their own horological journeys and the timeless appeal of certain references. This post underscores how a watch can evolve from a collection piece to a daily companion over many years.

I own it for some 13 years, now, but I am giving it more and more wrist time, lately...

A real character, this one, and in awesome condition!

Best,

Nicolas

And it's just where I pictured a field watch to be seen and used. In a beautiful green field! I like how the green fabric strap goes with your green shirt! By odd coincidence, I've been getting into field watches in 2023. I picked up this pre-owned Christopher Ward Sandhurst Mk1 watch earlier in the year. Kind regards, -Rick.
