Normally when you read “three compressor crowns” you might think of the Polaris...

Probably you will not think about something like this:

When I found this Lemania, it had an original Tropical strap on.

I thought strange watch to put a rubber strap on…

Then I turned it around.

Super compressor case, antimagnetic, and a Lemania!

Like a “Kinder egg”, three whishes’ in one!

An extra inner case to protect against magnetism.

Same as better known antimagnetic models like Ingenieur, Ralimaster and Geophysic.

Enicar Sherpa is a well-known two crown compressor, but did you know they also made single crown compressors?

I did not, until this one.

Recently I was offered another Lemania but didn’t think much about it until I saw the watch in real…

NOS, with a dial that struck a chord in me…

Oh, love at first sight!

A delicious zone dial with creamy patina.

So: One…

Two…

Three compressor crowns

Any more Lemania lovers out there?

They all have very nice presence on the wrist.

Blomman, Should I change your title from Mr. JLC to Mr. Compressor? Amazes me, and all here, your capacity to locate those marvelous pieces. Congratulations, Nilo

I also have one of those seemingly incongruous, but rather nice Lemania single crown compressors. In fact, I've grown fond of single crown compressors in general, and now have a few. My favorite may by the Ebel Nautic shown below. Regards, Tony C.

...and reminds me how similar that Lemania HW movement is to the Omega 30mm. Did they cooperate over that movement? I read quite a time ago that the Omega was purely an internal development, even gave the primary designer's name, though I can't remember it. Anti-magnetic: Any idea what the degree of resistance is in A/M or Guass? At a glance the degree of protection doesn't look as great as the equivalent Rolex or Ingenieur models.

Here we don't have flee markets like you describ. But if you put your ear to the ground and listen carfully, you might get lucky to find one or two nice treasures hidden... Mr Compressor - LOL, I think many others here deserves that name much more than me! ;) Even if I stray more and more from JLC, JLC will always be my home base! I think (we will see what the new CEO makes of the company)... Thank you,my friend! Best Blomman
