Hi there,
Below is my Royal Navy Fleet issued Lemania (0552), circa mid 60's
Engraved in the caseback, its NSN 6695-99-924-3306 as my later CWC Royal Navy issued (1974)
as per DEFSTAN 66-4
Anyone should expect the Lemania caliber 2220 with incabloc, but mine is powered by its ancestor, the gilted caliber 15CHT instead, which was formerly in use into watches with the following NSN 6695-99-924-3305. Nothing strange here as this happened quite oftenly with the earlier Serie III version.

I'm very fond myself of the rarer no lume white dial Submarine issued, NSN 924-3312 ... the hunt has started

again 15CHT instead of the expected 2220

Rarer again is the bi pusher chronograph version, RAF issued only between 1974 and 1975, caliber 1872

Let me conclude with a special mention to the TidGivare 195, same asymetrical case, but modified caliber 2225... which I think is still my favorite watch in the box !
Please don't hesitate to share yours.... Previous series I & II are more than welcomed obviously.

Thank you for sharing your great collection! :) Here is my Hamilton. I have some MIL Lemania. The Tg 195 is a favorite for sure! As well as the Lemania Viggen Chrono Best Blomman
Nice case, lovely dial and great movement + History. What more can you get for still such a reasonnable price??? The good thing is that they still are Under the radar. Which gives us more opportunities to find ours. I am a big fan of the no lume dial ( for the RN Submariners, I think ), rarer and harder to find. But a nicely patined black dial would fit the bill very well, too! Your example is superb. Time to build a collection toward this kind of dials? All the best, Fred, and BRAVO! Nicolas

I agree that these are vastly underrated watches for the quality of construction and design. The assymetric military lemania cases have a wonderfully solid and distinctive feel. I recently got my TG195 serviced and the watchmaker commented afterwards on the quality of the watch, saying he found it hard to get the dustcover back on afterwards because of the tight fit, proving that modern manufacturing techniques are not essential to achieve extraordinary build-quality tolerances. There is a surprising variety, but the functionality always shows through. Those watches are definitely not toys.
Being in the UK I seem to have picked up a few of these over the years. Lemania's heritage as a military and professional watch is amazing. My oldest is the Czech issued pilots watch. Theone I like to wear the most is the two button. The last one is probably the rarest - just fell in love with this design when I first saw it.
