Which is interesting with this old picture os to remind me how my Lecoultre Deep Sea Alarm was, when I bought it, and re bought it.

I bought it in 2008, then traded it for a better one, then my better one has been stolen, and then I re bought my first Lecoultre Deep Sea Alarm.

Since I re bought it, in 2012, I had some work on it. First, changing the hands for more conventional ones, but the one which are pictured below may well be the good ones, too.

Then I changed the plexy for a new old stock one.

I cleaned the dial a bit, and... A big service on the movement.

Here it is, in its original beauty.

Next and last step? I will tell you a bit later...

But I love this photo a lot!

Best,

Nicolas

Next step?

Diamond-set bezel? PVD coating? Rubber B watch strap? Rose gold crowns? Diamond pave dial? The options are limitless! ...just kidding, my friend. Really intrigued to see what you have planned for this legendary piece. Cheers, John

I am giving time to time and seeing how my nos dial will age. If it develops a nice and warm patina, I will mount it on this watch.

It it stays as it is, I will hunt another DSA US with a rotten dial, to put it. Best, John. Nicolas
