Jens, known as jlc.thomsen on WatchProSite, offers an exclusive glimpse into the Laurent Ferrier manufacture, providing a rare, personal account of his visit. His post highlights the brand's commitment to traditional watchmaking, featuring hands-on experiences with decoration techniques and an intimate encounter with Laurent Ferrier's personal Tourbillon, the very watch that secured the Grand Prix for Best Men's Watch in 2010. This article delves into the unique charm and understated excellence that define Laurent Ferrier timepieces, as seen through the eyes of a passionate collector.

Thank you for a fabulous day at JLC Thursday all purists! What a day!
As a little appendix to the tour I had the opportunity to spend a few hours at the Laurent Ferrier manufacture in Geneva this morning. Such great people.
I also had the opportunity to chat with Christian Ferrier and make my own fantastic (NOT!) perlage with the decoration team. Best of all I got to wear the same watch that was the first tourbillon ever produced. The very same watch that won the Grand Prix for Best man’s watch in 2010. Also Laurent’s personal watch. PS His Le Man helmet in the background. Does it get any better? THANK YOU!

And the Sport Auto. So cool, amazing and much better in the metal than I’d ever imagined!
