I must say that I am in love with the White Gold Blue version, here. Cool and elegant at the same time.

You?

Best,

About the A. Lange & Sohne Langematik Perpetual Ref. 310.037/310.025

The Langematik Perpetual represents A. Lange & Söhne's mastery of combining perpetual calendar complications with their signature outsized date display. Building upon the foundation laid by the original Langematik series introduced in 1997, this perpetual calendar variant showcases the manufacture's ability to integrate complex astronomical functions within their distinctive German watchmaking philosophy. The model stands as one of the most technically accomplished pieces in Lange's contemporary collection, demonstrating the brand's evolution from its post-reunification renaissance.

Powered by the manufacture L922.1 movement, the Langematik Perpetual displays day, date, month, leap year cycle, and moon phases across its meticulously arranged dial architecture. The oversized date window at 12 o'clock remains Lange's most recognizable design signature, while the subsidiary dials create a balanced composition that prioritizes legibility over decorative excess. The blue dial treatment, paired with either rose or white gold cases, represents a departure from traditional perpetual calendar aesthetics, offering a more contemporary interpretation of this classical complication.

With production limited to just 50 pieces in each metal configuration, the Langematik Perpetual occupies a rarified position within the contemporary collecting landscape. The scarcity factor, combined with Lange's reputation for finishing excellence and the technical sophistication of the perpetual calendar mechanism, positions these timepieces as significant acquisitions for serious collectors. The blue dial variants particularly appeal to enthusiasts seeking perpetual calendars that balance traditional complications with modern design sensibilities.

Accepter, Nicolas.

As with you, to my eye the blue dial just works better with the WG on this particular watch. However, I prefer the PG version on the new 34mm 1815 with the same blue dial. Go figure! Love the Langematik Perpetual and its movement. Never owned one - long to do so one day.

I would love to see these in the metal

I have only loved them from afar. I share your affinity towards the WG. But I would happily take the PG if I had the chance.
