Nicolas (amanico) introduces the A. Lange & Söhne Langematik Perpetual in two limited-edition blue dial versions, sparking a discussion among collectors about the aesthetic nuances of white gold versus rose gold. His initial preference for the white gold model invites readers to consider how material choices subtly transform the presence of a highly regarded perpetual calendar.

As with you, to my eye the blue dial just works better with the WG on this particular watch. However, I prefer the PG version on the new 34mm 1815 with the same blue dial. Go figure! Love the Langematik Perpetual and its movement. Never owned one - long to do so one day.
I have only loved them from afar. I share your affinity towards the WG. But I would happily take the PG if I had the chance.
I think this is a great model...somewhat under appreciated I think. I have to see them in person, but the PG somehow catches my eye more. Maybe because all 3 of my Langes are WG and so I am desiring a PG or HG version.
Now if I could just find the watch at a time when I have the funds….
