Platinum case. 

The power reserve indicator is better included, in this open dial. 





It won't beat the Dato first generation for me, but it is cool looking, like this.

I must confess I am not a huge fan of all the A. Lange & Sohne watches but I do like this one a lot.

It may be in part due to the lovely blue/grey dial colour which is one of my favourite colours for a dial as well as the way everything is so clean and legible and I really like the big date. I know what i have said may be considered blasphemy by some but I just like what I like. Whilst I'm being honest I feel the same way about Patek Philippe I love some models but not all but having said that I can still appreciate what both brands deliver in regards to high quality movements, spectacular dial
