SJX provides an exclusive look into the A. Lange & Söhne Masters Dinner held in Singapore, celebrating the 165th Anniversary Homage set. This event, co-hosted with Sincere Watch Ltd., offered a rare opportunity for collectors to experience Lange's exquisite craftsmanship and new releases in a luxurious setting. SJX's detailed photo essay captures the ambiance and the horological highlights, making this a valuable historical record for enthusiasts.
A few weeks ago Lange launched the 165th Anniversary Homage set in Singapore, together with its retail partner Sincere Watch Ltd. The set consists of the Tourbograph, Lange 1 Tourbillon and 1815 Moon Phase, each in honey gold. In addition to the press conference (click here to see photos of the event), Sincere and Lange hosted a Masters Dinner for a small group of Sincere clientele.
The dinner was held at the Fullerton Bay Hotel ( www.fullertonbayhotel.com ), a newly opened boutique hotel situated in Singapore's business district with stunning views of the city and water. Needless to say the venue was unmistakably Lange in its decoration.

Lange & Söhne 1815 reference 206.032, introduced in 1999, is a notable example of the brand's commitment to traditional watchmaking principles. This model is part of the 1815 collection, which pays homage to the birth year of Ferdinand Adolph Lange and emphasizes classic design elements such as Arabic numerals and blued hands, drawing inspiration from historical Lange pocket watches. It represents a more understated and purist aesthetic compared to some of the brand's more complex offerings, focusing on fundamental horological excellence.
This particular reference features an 18k rose gold case measuring 36mm in diameter and 7.5mm in thickness. It houses the manually wound L941.1 caliber, visible through a sapphire crystal case back. The movement provides a power reserve of 45 hours. The watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal on the front, protecting a solid silver dial. Water resistance is rated at 30 meters, suitable for everyday wear but not for immersion.
The 1815 206.032 appeals to collectors who appreciate classical proportions and a focus on fundamental watchmaking without excessive complications. Its smaller case size reflects a more traditional approach to men's wristwatches, making it a desirable piece for those seeking a discreet yet highly refined timepiece. The combination of rose gold and a silver dial offers a warm and legible presentation, consistent with the collection's historical inspirations.
Guests enjoyed cocktails in the Landing Point lounge bar (the hotel was built on an old pier) before heading to the Clifford restaurant for dinner. Ong Ban, CEO of Sincere Watch, gave a brief speech, followed by Franck Giacobini, the newly appointed Managing Director for Lange Asia-Pacific.
Midway through dinner, Arnd Einhorn, Lange's head of PR, presented the much awaited Homage set to the guests. Everyone was suitably impressed. Alongside the Homage trio, the 2010 collection was also shown.

This has been published before but I'm reposting it here for those who may not have seen it. - SJX Lange had a superb range of products this year. In contrast to previous years where the collection was led by a highly complicated watch that was complicated for the sake of being so, the range this year is a gifted balance. Both commercial products with wider appeal and cerebral complications are well represented. Small complications like the Referenzuhr and annual calendar launched this year are
setting, watches, guests, company. I am so impressed by Lange all the way around. I see some watches there on my wish list..........
Thanks for the time that you devoted to your presentation. The watches are stunning. Seeing the new ones makes me want to speed up the acquisition of my next Lange. The people look very happy in the photos. Especially. Peter when he is flanked by beautiful women. I'm sure a great time was had by all.
