Singingbee introduces his Kurono Tokyo eggshell dial variant, a limited edition piece designed by independent watchmaker Hajime Asaoka. This acquisition is particularly meaningful as a portion of the proceeds supports the Rainbow Centre in Singapore, highlighting the intersection of horology and philanthropy.

Recently collected the Kurono Tokyo eggshell dial variant which is a limited edition of 50 pieces for Sincere Fine Watches customers. This beautiful little piece is designed by @hajime_asaoka who is widely regarded as one of the best independent watchmakers in the world.

Procuring this piece is especially meaningful for me as a portion of the proceeds will go to Rainbow Centre here in Singapore. Rainbow Centre is a social service organisation which creates opportunities for children with autism and other disabilities so as to ultimately improve their quality of life. As a father myself, I am glad that I am able to contribute in a little way to this meaningful cause. Special thanks to fellow Purists, hororgasm and beerstyle, Sincere Fine Watches and Hajime Asaoka-san for making this happen.

Sublime.

It looks to be an extremely-handsome watch from a dedicated watch-maker, dedicated to a great charitable cause. Thanks for sharing!

Got my Mystic Grey

a few days ago. Truth be told, it's left me somewhat underwhelmed and I don't see myself wearing it much at all. While I appreciate the good that's been done with the proceeds, I am seriously thinking of getting rid of it. Enough watches that I don't wear already.

I suppose different strokes for different folks

Maybe it’s not the genre of watch you like

Exactly so

The genre, I am not sure, my collection spans many genre. But, as you said, like and dislike are an individual thing.
