Champthekid's decision to switch his Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Polaris Mariner from bracelet to strap highlights a common collector practice: adapting watches to seasonal changes and rediscovering their aesthetic versatility. This post explores how a simple strap change can transform the wearing experience, offering fresh perspectives on a beloved reference. Champthekid's personal experience serves as a valuable reminder of the subtle yet significant impact of strap choices on a watch's character.

Interesting that there is space (daylight) in between the lugs whereas the rubber strap has curved ends to fill that space.
