From the Late Nineties to 2007, we had the pleasure to live the Reverso Platinum Saga, after the rose gold era from 1991 to 2000.

There were 8 platinum Reversos, the first one being the Sun Moon, the last one the Gyrotourbillon II. The Reverso Reserve de Marche is the second and came circa 2000.

The Reserve de Marche is the only one to not have been produced in a limited edition, and to have a solid case back.

It is interesting to see that Jaeger Lecoultre has a soft spot for the Reserve de Marche, as we see this complication in the Sun Moon, The Platinum NR Two Tourbillon, the Septantième, The Triptyque, the Gyrotourbillon, and of course in the eponymous Reverso.

So, among the 8 platinum Reversos, 6 of them had this complication!

So, The Reverso Reserve de Marche has a GT case, a guilloché ruthenium dial with silver powder hour markers and heated blue hands( seconds and reserve de marche ).

While we often discuss the Master Reserve de Marche, we almost never discuss this Reverso version. Strange, and not fair, as it is quite dressy and elegant!

It was about time to repair this " injustice ".

Best,

Nicolas
