.. Friends, hoping you all had a nice Xmas & are having a Happy Holiday season.
Some of you may know that one of my central themes are JLC Memovoxes;
with time, I had been able to collect & find some for my home:

These are of various References, but several of the E 875, which already
had a " speedbeat" movement, and a number of color combinations,
creating number of variations with different appeal.

The white/ white is been doing fine duty

Two tone blue/ white - classic with a twist

I do like this specific reference, as it resembles a classical style Memovox
which was produced from around 1972 up to 1981 (7331 pieces/ all dials- Ref: Nico, Jan/ 2011 MMV Ref post).
A typical, balanced JLC Epitome, as you can then see below...

Among other things, I recently have been lucky to find this special E 875 in blue,
the one I had been looking for in several years already:

How ? - Well, in fact, a kind friend with a renowned Memovox interest had let
me know, that as he owned three, he kindly would be willing to part from one ..

On the occasion of a recent short trip to Paris, I was able to meet the gentleman
and our transaction was successful and smooth.

- Even more so, as the kind friend had even checked all three he had, for running properties.
In addition to that, I was given the opportunity to chose one of three,
and was more than happy to get one. - One that fits my wrist perfectly,
and looks lovely, great dial in blue/ blue ! - Was happy from the first moment on and still am.

So I would just like to share this pre-Christmas find, with her 2 other E 875 sisters :
- it's now a very nice completion, sort of " 3 Kings/ Queens".

My newly find 875: left - Blue on blue & blue on white: rt

Two-tone blue on white and the classical style E875 speedbeat

This reminds me on the upcoming clergical day of " Epiphania", when one thinks about
the appearance of Jesus ( in the christian faith) and the appearance of 3 Kings,
actually 3 Magoi ( Greek word for magician).

Now, without further ado, here the JLC Memovox Trio of 875's in various color combinations,
which I truly love. - Also it means the end of hunting this one, any more !

Hope you liked that little story about the " Epiphania", the appearance of a third King,
making the group of 875s complete for me..

Blue on blue E 875, a balanced pleasure

Thank you & a good 2015, to the kind friend (you know who you are !),
who guided me to the pre-Xmas present of my already beloved blue/blue E875 !

Best to all, also for the upcoming New Year 2015 !

About the Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Ref. E875

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox reference E875 represents a notable iteration of the alarm watch series, distinguished by its specific design elements and production period. This reference is recognized for its integration of the alarm function within a robust case, characteristic of the brand's mid-century technical advancements in wristwatches. It stands as a key example of the Memovox line's evolution, offering both practicality and a distinctive aesthetic that appeals to collectors interested in functional complications.

This particular reference typically features a stainless steel case, housing a self-winding movement. The case diameter is commonly found around 37mm, a size that was prevalent for men's watches during its era of production. The watch is powered by the Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 916, a high-beat automatic movement with a power reserve of approximately 45 hours. The crystal is generally acrylic, protecting a dial that often includes a rotating central disc for setting the alarm.

The E875 is sought after by collectors who appreciate the technical ingenuity of the Memovox alarm mechanism combined with a classic watch design. Its appeal lies in its reliable automatic movement and the distinctive sound of its mechanical alarm. The reference contributes to the broader narrative of Jaeger-LeCoultre's horological contributions, showcasing the brand's commitment to developing useful complications for everyday wear.

And getting three E 875, with three different dials is really something. The last catch ,the all blue is in perfect condition. Very nice. Like your E 855 Ebene. Wonderful. One of the nicest collection of vintage Memos, for sure. Best, and huge congratulations. Nicolas
