Amanico uncovers a rare variant of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Gyrotourbillon One, a platinum PVD case with an open dial, a micro-edition of only five pieces from circa 2010. This discovery expands the known lineage of this iconic complication, prompting a discussion among collectors about its unique aesthetic and technical choices.

You need one of each, Nicolas. 😁 M4
Not sure if I would choose it, but definitely a cool one. Thanks for enlarging our wisdom. Vte
I did not know of ‘black beauty’ very very cool.
I like the original one as well. First time I see a platinum case PVD, why would anyone do this? on a larger piece like this would it not be more suited to make the case in titanium and PVD for the black look? Stealthy for sure with the platinum however..
For a large watch to be wearable it has to be comfortable, to me at last... Is Pvd on platinum sensible?
