I thought I knew all the non jeweled versions of the Jaeger Lecoultre Gyrotourbillon One. I was wrong.

You all know the first opus in platinum, limited to 75 pieces, introduced in the collection in 2004.

We know that in 2009, there were two white gold versions, one with the Clous de Paris, limited to 20 pieces, the other belonging to the Hybris Mechanica set of three watches, with the famous open dial, limited to 30 pieces.

I knew that there was a micro series of platinum PVD case, with the first generation dial. Not sure it saw the light, it was a project, at least.

The version I just discovered is this one: The platinum PVD case, with the open dial of the 2009 white gold version. Credit picture: Antiquorum.

A micro edition of 5 pieces, circa 2010:

There are some differences with the white gold open dial from 2009, with darkened parts: The time dial, the months, the days and the reserve de marche.

A quite spectacular version, I must say, but I still prefer the first " One ".

You?

Best,

Nicolas

The movement (suppose German Silver) has taken one quite some patina! [nt]

Yes, I noticed that on the Duometre movements, too. [nt]

May the miracle makers at JLC hear you! ;) No, just one of them would make my day, and I am not picky, the first one will be good enough for me. [nt]
