TheMadDruid celebrates bringing home his new Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic Universal Time in Rose Gold, a watch he found irresistible after seeing it in person. His post highlights the exquisite dial details, including applied hour markers and the JLC logo, which deeply resonated with him. The author also playfully demonstrates the watch's universal time complication by referencing various time zones for fellow collectors.

The Geophysic Universal Time in Rose Gold.

I could not resist this watch, which I knew when I saw it up close last week.

You can see from the picture the beautiful detail of the dial: the applied hour markers and also the applied logo, which just destroys me (in a good way!).
Of course, I had much encouragement in this purchase. I needn't have bothered making up reasons for the necessity of grabbing this one; as was pointed out by so many of the Purists!

And so, as you can see: it is 6:15 PM in New York (New Jersey). In Noumea-oh so important to me- it is 10:15 in the morning. Blomman: if you are still on vacation, it is 6:15 AM. And Nico, Mark: you are both probably asleep.

Cheerio!

with a fancy dial but also a different complication. I'm hesitant to get another WT with my GP , seems I'm kind of watch guy who just need a watch for that type of function. Still soul searching what kind of collector or am I really consider as a collector or just "hobbyist" I am. Congratulations. Rgds Raymond

Saw the steel version in the Boutique\'s shop window in passing and it really is spectacular. Confident you will enjoy yours for a long time to come!
