Echi's quest for watches featuring an independent local hour hand, distinct from a traditional GMT complication, highlights a practical travel feature often overlooked. This discussion uncovers various brands and models that incorporate this convenient functionality, proving invaluable for collectors who prioritize ease of time zone adjustment without the added complexity of a GMT display. Echi's original post, centered around his Panerai 372, sparks a broader exploration into this niche horological feature.

The only one I know and have is the 372 and I’m sure there are a lot of Panerais out there with such a feature. But outside of Panerai, what else is out there? I would like to know. I travel from time to time but do not really see the need for a GMT and find the adjustable hour hand very useful. I wish they put that feature on watches like the Rolex Air King smile

your thread is one of mine featuring a Bedat with a brilliant blue dial. It has an independently adjustable hour hand which is handy when traveling. Best of luck with your search. Kurt

It’s used in their line. A Seamaster Aqua Terra or Seamaster 300 would make a good daily wearer.

For example the 756 has a hidden hour hand behind the „main“ hour hand. That can be taken out on demand, otherwise it hides completely behind the main hand.

of models that were based on their "Autotractor" movement. Some used a 24-hour hand, but many simply had overlapping 12-hour hands. The Master Hometime, The Compressor Dual Time, the Reverso DuoDate, etc. -Dean

My 9F are older, but the news ones have IAHH. On that note, The Citizen TC quartz models also have IAHH.
