I also own both and feel that though they share a white dial they have different personalities. The Daytona is an evolution of a classic and this last version with the thin steel ring enclosing the ceramic bezel is a great improvement in looks over the previous model in my personal point of view. This watch has a very imposing presence on the wrist and I’m delighted to wear it though I confess it receives little use due to the hard safety conditions in my Country. But I confess that I’m more and more afraid that something could happen to it and it sees very little wrist time lately. But I like to wear it from time to time specially on weekend I spend at home. Cheers! Abel
