I was quite smitten by the laureto as well as the submersible with the blue dial.  What doesn’t show from the picture is the blue dial is lacquered while the black on the other Submersible is mate…

and also not a fan of that GP model. I think the IWC 43 is fantastic and has 100mt water resistance + easy to change straps (is not so user friendly on a panerai or GP).

I never owned one so I don’t really know but would be afraid to get it and then have a 10+ sec/day watch?

I know the Panerai don’t fit any of these two but it was the first time I could try a submersible in the flesh and I thought they were nice to

That leads us to the BP 43 which is clearly based on an iconic series of pilots' watches. One of the very few worthy offerings from their current catalogue.

I tried one on for the first time recently and I was impressed by the look and the comfort of the bracelet.
