Girard Perregaux Traveller Grande Date Sapphire

.. So today the D-day & hour of touching base with :
Traveller Grande Date, Moon, GMT & Sapphire dial:

Here just some very initial, and quite quick shots, early after
unboxing and happily touching my new modern marvel.

Although I've had the pleasure to extensively get a good á priori
view & try-on, besides having had it on the wrist for half a day..

It's a different feel, once you are here to finally pick it up,
at least for me..



Very fine presentation &
- First impressions go a long way..

Very nice box, wooden, not too big & not too small


On bottom below with a nicely integrated cardboard drawer
for the books, Guarantee cards etc.



En face
- the blue hue effects by the sapphire - a nice twist



For me perfectly on the wrist
- the " black" dial, but white accents still nicely prevailing:

hands, GP logo, seconds track,
The Grand Date & 24hr scale & hand on rt subdial

The " Shade" dial: charming grey with reflections



Molding onto the wrist: Shallow case lines & lugs

And now a little break - All black with few whites


No end without a good coffee..
To end with a nice Cappucchino never is wrong..

More to follow, but it will be tough to come
up with more, than what our dear GP mod already
has reviewed & reported..
