Stefano Macaluso, then President of Girard-Perregaux, extends a warm welcome to new forum moderators Daos Boonma and Dr. Andrew Daley, emphasizing the brand's 220-year legacy as an independent haute horlogerie manufacture. His message underscores Girard-Perregaux's commitment to in-house production and fostering community engagement.
Dear enthusiasts and Purist community,
I am pleased to welcome Ms. Daos Boonma and Dr. Andrew Daley as the new moderators for the Girard-Perregaux forum.
Girard-Perregaux has been striving to manufacture peerless timepieces for 220 years. Today, we are one of the last independent names of the Haute Horlogerie world. One of the last watch manufacture to perform every stage of production in-house.
I was literally ‘born’ in the family business, growing up surrounded by watches. ‘Haute horlogerie’ is part of our DNA, and, as a watch passionate, I have always had an interest for reading this forum. It is therefore a great pleasure to have Daos and Andrew on board to moderate this place where information, opinions and ideas will be exchanged, where the rich and varied world of Girard-Perregaux will be shared.
I wish our new moderators team a warm welcome… Exciting time ahead for Girard-Perregaux and this forum!
Best regards,
Stefano Macaluso
President of Girard-Perregaux

Without any doubt, we'll have exciting times to live together, and to discuss about GP's magic world. Did I tell you I'm a big fan of the brand? I wish GP, you, Mr Macaluso and all of us, GP fans, a brilliant future full of marvels. Today is a great day. Best, Nicolas.
GP is a quiet favorite amongst many connoisseurs. Let's make some noise over here! What shall we discuss first!? You know one of my dreams is for a 60s Deep Diver reissue. That could be a fantastic addition to the collection! Thanks for always being supportive! Cheers, Daos
From the Deep Diver to the Sea Hawk... Now, that would be very interesting. A Re issue of the Deep Diver? Count me in, definitely! That is one of the many attractive faces of the brand. Something about Mimo would be also very interesting. Will post something about one of my favourite ( I have so many ... ) GP watches, the WW TC Tourbillon. I already worked on it, I have to find the correct time to put it on line. What about just after IGOTT II? Best, Sister. Nicolas
I will focus on this after my short on-the-wrist review of one of the older Vintage 45 models. I look forward to reading your post also! After IGOTT will be fine! Cheers, Daos
