Crown comfort's 2019 SIHH preview for Girard-Perregaux introduced several novelties, including the Laureato Absolute, the Cosmos, and the 1966 "Earth to Sky" Edition. This initial look at the collection set the stage for community reactions to GP's direction, particularly its use of black DLC titanium and celestial themes.
Friends,
it is time to take a sneak peek at the Novelties from SIHH 2019 from Girard-Perregaux. Expect to see some live shots later this week, but let’s have a quick look what’s new this year.
Laureato Absolute:
A new interpretation of the classic Laureato, bigger, bolder and deeper. We have 3 versions in Titanium black DLC treated:
The time-only/date
The Chronograph and
The WW.TC
Looking forward seeing them in the flesh.
Cosmos:
This year’s Haute Horlogerie Masterpiece with Tourbillon, rotating Earth and Sky.
1966 “Earth to Sky” Edition
This year a whole theme of “Earth to Sky” is dominating the novelties, so it makes sense to also release a special 1966 Limited Edition. Steel case, again black DLC treated with blue sunburst dial.
More details and live pics to follow.
Best,
CC
Those Laureato Abosute models are too Victorinox for me, sorry. The Earth and Sky looks amazing. Thanks. Vte
Wonder if there will be more during SIHH or/and during the year Of course among presented I like Haute Horlogerie Masterpiece with Tourbillon, rotating Earth and Sky most Cheers D
I assume it can be used as a two timezone watch?
a bit macho-esh and modern
Love blue dials in general but not a huge fan of black case watches... Need to see live shots before any real opinion... The Earth and Sky Tourbillon looks really impressive! Best Blomman
any idea on retail prices?
