time for me to do some dreaming. I know 500 posts sounds not much, there are one or two on this forum that only need half a week for that, but I have focused my contributions to the GP forum. It has been a real pleasure sharing the passion here and I have learned so much and taken new inspirations.

It has been a real pleasure sharing the passion here and I
have learned so much and taken new inspirations. As a result, my collection has
grown significantly.

So what is better for a 500th post than some
dreaming of watches. So I thought for every 100 posts I can have one dream.
Here are my top 5 GP dream watches on my ultimate wish list:

Richeville Perpetual Calendar in steel:

I just love the case shape, the fact that it is in steel and
the superb dial.

Scuderia Ferrari Foudroyante in white gold, white dial:

THE Ferrari watch of all Ferrari watches. The combination of
white gold and white dial is not often seen, but I really like it.

GP Classic Elegance Ultra-thin, white gold, roman numerals:

A simple, but powerful classic with manual wind.

1966 Chronograph in white gold, white dial:

Somehow, I do prefer the white over the blue dial.

Last but not least, the most convincing Tourbillon ever, the
Laureato with 3 blue sapphire bridges:

This watch just combines a futuristic design with
traditional GP DNA, very rare unfortunately.

So looking forward to the next 500!

About the Girard Perregaux Ref. 1966Chronograph

The Girard Perregaux 1966 Chronograph is a notable offering within the brand's classically styled 1966 collection, distinguished by its integrated chronograph function. This reference emphasizes traditional watchmaking aesthetics combined with a practical complication, positioning it as a more technically involved piece compared to time-only or simple date models within the same line. It represents Girard Perregaux's commitment to horological complications in a refined, understated package. The design adheres to the collection's established visual language, ensuring continuity while introducing enhanced functionality.

This particular iteration features a 40 mm case crafted from white gold, providing a substantial yet luxurious feel on the wrist. The watch is powered by an automatic mechanical movement, the GP03300-0064 caliber, which is visible through a sapphire case back. This movement offers a power reserve of approximately 46 hours. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, ensuring clarity and scratch resistance. The case dimensions contribute to a balanced presence, aligning with contemporary preferences for moderately sized chronographs.

For collectors, the 1966 Chronograph appeals to those seeking a sophisticated chronograph from a respected manufacture, without overt sporting pretensions. Its white gold case and classic design make it suitable for formal wear, while the chronograph complication adds a layer of horological interest. The choice of a display case back allows appreciation of the movement's finishing. This reference stands as a solid example of Girard Perregaux's capabilities in producing complicated watches with a focus on traditional design principles.

Thank you for all your contribution here in the GP forum, CC! It is a joy and pleasure to follow your passion and journey in the GP world! :) Your wish list is very similar to my own... Only difference is that I prefer some of the blue/black dials. May your wishes come true in 2015! Hope you don't mind me putting your post as Editor's pic. Ich Wünsche Ihnen ein Frohes weihnacht! for all your kind words. The dream list is likely to remain a dream list for some time to come, but of course there are other GPs on the wish list that are more reachable and will surely be on my list for 2015. God Jul och ett Gott och välmående Nytt År till dig och din familj! (I hope Google translate can at least properly translate this common phrase)
