Wednesday I
had the opportunity to attend a party held by Girard-Perregaux in the name of
the “The New Face of Tradition”! 
The party was held in the beautiful location of the Swiss Embassy, close to the L'HĂ´tel national des Invalides.
The Embassy was crowded with watch enthusiasts.
While the beautiful garden was deserted, due to the rain.
The novelties were lined up.
The photo condition as usual at these kinds of events was horrible…
Luckily, we had a chance for a private photo session, the results which will be posted later, I hope you will like!
Beside mingle, champagne and hors d'oeuvres, there was also a chance to talk to the New Faces of Tradition.
And to see them in action!
It might look easy… But it’s not! If you not convinced… There was a chance to try yourself.
But I think
it’s better to let the professional do what they do best!
Safer that
way… 
The prestige 2013 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève, received for the Constant Escapement.
And of course the CE in Pink gold was present at this event.
And the evolution of the movement.
Which ladies watch that was the watchmakers’ favorite was easy to see… Both in black…
And white!
I will end this report
with this shot, which I think sums the evening perfectly: knowledge, skills and
sensual beauty. Yes, I am still talking about watches!
