Nicolas (amanico) presents the Girard Perregaux Constant Escapement, inviting collectors to consider the aesthetic nuances between its rose gold and white gold iterations. His post highlights this horological marvel, prompting a discussion on how case material influences the perception of its groundbreaking silicon constant escapement mechanism. This article distills community insights on the visual impact of these distinct metals.

Rose Gold or White Gold? Just to help our friend to make his mind... wink

One of my dreams...

Best,

Nicolas

Although I like the finer designed dial of the RG more. The dial of the WG version is too "sporty" for my taste. P.S.: The bridges ... remind me of another watch... (OMG)

It frames and makes the grey main dial and the silver subdial contrast more. The constant escapement silicium mechanism is more clear this way and this is the real start of the show.

You actually save the RG version from a Fanny score (13-0) which was almost granted to the WG. Score becomes 11-1!
