Some official pictures of one of my favorite modern Girard Perregaux, the Neotourbillon Black. Young, fresh, artistic, contemporary. This watch revisits the legendary Tourbillon with bridges from Girard Perregaux. Very high in my wish list! Best, Nicolas

But, dear Nicolas, may we discuss an element I never see mentioned in these pages—to wit: the way the hands are fastened to the stems/shafts? that connect them to the gears below. I bring this up because in this case something different seems to be going on. Do I detect a mother-of-pearl cap? How fitting that these beautiful hands be "capped" so elegantly. But what lies beneath the cap? Perhaps a hexagonal slot? Or are they simply press-fit onto the end of a shaft? Well… whatever the case, it is
It seems so perfectly pristine in there! I WANT ONE! Cazalea PS - but the screwhead on the bottom left bridge footing is not lined up properly - 10 lashes to the assembler, please.
It's nice to see how GP has updated a very classic concept with a very nice and modern look. Whole escapement looks gorgeous. Vte
