Blomman Mr Blue provides an initial look at Girard-Perregaux's novelties from SIHH 2017, highlighting the continued expansion of the Laureato collection. This post serves as an early preview, focusing on the introduction of new Laureato models in various sizes, materials, and complications, including a Tourbillon with a Golden Bridge.
Friends,
I just received the initial news from Geneva.
Here is a short line up of some of the novelties this year, but I suspect there will be more!
I think no one will be surprised that the re-birth of the Laureato last year was not a one-time thing.
This year, Girard-Perregaux follows with four new models;
Laureato Tourbillon: the prestige of a Gold Bridge
Here two GP icons meet; The Laureato and the arrow shaped Golden Bridge!
Two versions; Pink Gold, Titanium/White Gold.
Laureato 42 mm: masculine elegance
Three dial versions; Silver, Grey, Blue.
Three case versions; Steel, Steel/Pink Gold, Pink Gold.
Black leather strap or matching bracelet.
Laureato 38 mm: the flexibility of an icon
Three dial versions; Silver, Grey, Blue.
Two case versions; Steel, Pink Gold.
Four bezel versions; Steel, Steel/diamonds, Pink gold, Pink Gold/diamonds.
Black or White leather strap or matching bracelet.
Laureato 34 mm: graceful femininity
Three dial versions; Silver, Grey, Blue.
Three case versions; Steel, Steel/Pink Gold, Pink Gold.
Three bezel versions; Steel/diamonds, Pink gold, Pink Gold/diamonds.
Matching leather strap or matching bracelet.
Now it will be very interesting to compare the Laureato 38mm and 42mm with last yearโs 41mm version!
We already got the news about the WW.TC joining the GP 1966 collection.
1966 WW.TC (Pre-SIHH)
Two versions; Steel, Pink gold, 40mm case.
Leather strap or bracelet.
Now letโs look at the heavy weights!
Neo-Bridges: Gateway to the future
Here Girard-Perregaux mix two strong values: Tradition and Innovation.
PVD coated Neo-Bridges, Titanium 45mm case, Automatic movement.
Tri-Axial Planetarium: Dance of the cosmos
Pink Gold 48mm case.
Rotating globe with day/night indication
I will return with more details on these and hopefully, later this week, some live shots.

I will need to see them in real before my judgement... Best Blomman
