Although your watches remain far more appealing. Sizing to modern tastes is good for most, 39mm is better than anything larger, and this would obviously sell much much better than if it was 36mm.
A very interesting choice to release this 50th anniversary watch in two tone, it seems two tone watches really are gaining popularity unless there is some historic reason I am unaware of. Marc
here is a wristshot from me: I wish it would also come in a stainless steel version!
The 2-tone is not really for me but everything else is top!!
I can see how this will appeal to some collectors because GP made the decision to go with two tone instead of steel which is somewhat unique. They got the size right; This is sure to wear better than the too large, bulky 42 mm case size. The movement is gorgeous to look at and finally has an improved power reserve. Oh dear. Look, I just turned the same age. So a Laureato that’s actually compelling is a very dangerous thing. Now as others are saying, if this were just steel…I’d be in a good bit of trouble…as it is, hmmm. Also no micro-adjust. Hey, I’m gonna have to pick nits if I’m gonna get outta having to buy one of these… Best E.
