Last December, I introduced you this lovely Gyromatic " Arrows ", which was brought to me by a friend from the US. This is a superb example of the Gyromatic, and probably ( I don't know all of them ) one of my favourite, due to the lack of date. The case has a diameter of 34 mm, but in the real, it
I like it a lot, I have to say. Agree on the no-date for these vintage watches. On the vintage Richeville I just showed, it is the same, although only 34mm in size, it looks large enough on the wrist due to the no bezel and domed crystal. Likewise, winding it via the crown is not smooth, but it minds on the wrist efficiently. I will get it services eventually to fix that. I see you need to find a minute hand, I need to find a matching buckle for my vintage Richeville. Ah, the hunt is never over.
I wrote this post some 8 months ago, and that, in the meantime, I gave it to GP who found me the correct set of hands, cleaned the dial and serviced the movement... Will show it in the next few weeks... Thanks for your input, CC. I must say that this Watch is a big love for me. Best! Nicolas
.. the dial, with its long applied indices, reminds me on the JLC 855 series, maybe even more "esoteric "in its charm.. That silver dial is to die for !! And I very much like also the lugs.. - Definitely one entry for your list, please - to show me for next time !.. For sure a piece to love !! Best, hs
I will show it to you, next time.... All the best, my friend. Nicolas.
You need to show me the results after service next time we meet, my friend! Best Blomman
Will post a few pictures later.... Best, Dad. Nicolas
