Have been looking for a fair deal on a 38 mm Laureato for several months now. Some of you may have read my story from three weeks ago. I tried on 38 mm silver dial. Saw it in the metal for the first time . I called him back with the intent of purchasing the next day and it was sold. I have been obsessed ever since. Continued my hunt and there was 1 left in the entire U.S. that was available! So this just happened! To me, the case shape, bezel and dial texture is pure magic. A proper throw back to the decade I was born. Charming vintage vibe. Take special note of the wearability. In 38 mm variant, the size is just right without being overpowering. And look at that slim case - 10 mm! Wears like a dream. Might I consider a darker dial, such as blue or black in the future? (As I originally intended). Possibly. But for now, the allure and sparkle of this silver dial is inescapable. 100% charm and magic from GP, and I’m incredibly happy with it. Thanks for reading friends

PS: Anyone know how many links are supposed to come in a fully linked Laureato 38 mm?

Love it👌🏽

Silver 38 is perfect. Interesting that GP offers this in 4 sizes. You got this from an AD, correct? But how did they find the remaining piece in the US, unless it was their online service that helped you? Congratulations either way, great get!

Awesome.

So much better than some heavily 'overplayed' pieces. Sincere congratulations, enjoy it to the fullest extent!! Cheers, Filip

Looks indeed FANTASTIC❣️

Especially the different textures: brushed and polished case and clus de Paris dial! AND the silver dial, this monochrome look just dors the deal!! 👌🏻🤩 I would NOT go for a different dial color! 😉

Most appreciated Markus!

I tend to gravitate strongly towards blue. Especially for this type of watch. (My Omega AT is a perfect example of that). I’ll admit the monochrome look is very much growing on me. In most lighting situations the dial is indeed silver. But in lower lighting, the dial is a milky white. Which I think is really cool! Thanks for weighing in on the dial color choices

Thanks myles721!

When I saw your post in the other thread, “ A purchase can’t be too far behind! “ I was like, yep, he knows 😂 Once I get rambling about a passion such as this, my true colors shine, and yes, sometimes even a “purchase too is not far behind.” 🍻
