rnaden provides an engaging recap of Franck Muller's 10th Anniversary Crazy Hour event in Kuala Lumpur, offering a glimpse into the brand's celebration and new releases. The author shares personal impressions and photographs from the Sincere gallery, capturing the atmosphere and showcasing various Franck Muller timepieces, including the special anniversary editions.

Franck Muller had an event here in Kuala Lumpur at the Sincere gallery last night celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Crazy Hour range as well as introducing some new (and not so new) models to customers, press and fans of the brand. Event was light and relaxing with drinks and finger food with good music as well. Some pictures to share - the older mind forgot to bring the camera so I had to make do with my "backup" Sony Xperia phone camera so pardon the less than nice photo quality.

Snack spread on top of servers handing out some good stuff

Lots of bling

Crazy Hour 10th anniversary pieces. Not all that clear, but the number "10" is set in diamonds

Probably one of FM's models that I like - but sadly doesn't work for small wrists

What do you think of this?

The Black Croco is interesting - I might be able to convince myself to wear one....but the Iron Croco? It's a different kind of bling IMO...my wife calls it "interesting".

This amazed me. You literally see the tourbillion "jumping" ever second. One revolution every 5 seconds is fast. Makes me wonder about the rate of wear though. I could not get confirmation on the types of materials used though.

I like this skeleton...if only Giga wasn't all that Giga in size.

Infinity range - interesting departure from the Curvex DNA

Model on the right has a nicely done porcelain dial.

Still my favorite shape. If only the "Platinum Rotor" wasn't written on the dial

Not sure where this was going, but I"m pretty sure there's a market for them. The name and text on the front are printed on the crystal instead of the dial though.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the wonderful photos. I'll admit, FM is a brand I am a bit out of touch with. I like some of the watches, and years ago owned a polished steel bracelet Conquistador. I can see myself coming back to the brand one day. PS - hard to believe it is 10 years already with the Crazy Hour...

Great report, I am guessing from KLCC. I was really excited with Franck Muller in the early 90's when the brand was new. I loved the very simple Casablanca for its shape. And I truly appreciate that Franck Muller really helped foster the development of talented watchmakers. And I am blown away with the grand complications in the Aeternitas Mega collection. But I suspect what has turned alot of would be collectors off, may be that yes FM may be a Master of Complications, but also very much a Mast

I do agree with you on the bling. You would have noticed that the pieces I liked were the ones that held that simpler curvex designs without the bling. I was wearing my Casablanca at the event and couldn't help noticing how everything that was on display was designed to shout and demand for attention - and I'm not talking in a watch lover kind of way. I used to stay at the Marriot connected to Starhill every weekend when I would drive up from Singapore. My favourite city in SE Asia, and I would say better food than Singapore ! Would love to hang out in Bangsar on a day like today. I do wish the best for Franck Muller. No idea how they are doing, but they recently closed a large boutique in IFC Shanghai. I suspect Malaysia is a big market for them since bling is in ! Thanks for the great post. Dean

I actually think that you can find "bling" in most watch brands if you look hard enough. FM makes some very nice watches (some simple dress watches and some complicated) without the "bling"!
