Cookies initiates a fascinating exploration into the watch preferences of 'ESFJ' personality types, often described as 'Entertainers/Caregivers.' This article delves into whether their empathetic and loyal traits manifest in their horological choices, examining the collections of public figures like Elton John, Idris Elba, Ed Sheeran, and Randy Jackson. Cookies prompts readers to consider if there's a discernible pattern of brand loyalty or unique self-expression through timepieces among these individuals.

Extroverted, Sensing, Feeling, Judging. These are the personality spheres of the Entertainers/Caregivers.

Representing about 12% of the population, they are everybody's friend, empathetic, conflict diffusers. gossip champions, helpful people and loyal.

In theory, these individuals like to express themselves uniquely, and timepieces can be an avenue for it. Am I noticing a trend for loyalty in Elton John and Idris Albas stickiness to particular brands? Is there a common denomination behind Ed Sheeran and Elton John's custom watch pieces?

Here are some examples many of us have heard of:

Randy Jackson

Watches he is seen with: Curtis and Co diamond encrusted fashion pieces, Toywatch plastic pieces in bright colours. Quite a flamboyant unique style.

Ed Sheeran

Watches he is known to wear: Almost anything great (PP Nautilus, Hublot Big Bangs, Richard Mille, Custom Rolex etc), but what stands out are his custom Bamford pieces shown above. Pretty flamboyant but in a technical way.

Elton John

Watches he is known to wear: Heavily-jewelled custom Chopard, Franck Muller. Very flamboyant, but noted to favour customizations.

Idris Alba

Watches he is known to wear: Rolex datejust, Daydate, Cartier Tank, IWC. A little bit of an outlier here in terms of his horological choices.

Please let me know your thoughts about this personality subset which I theorize to have high loyalty to brands and favour highly custom/rare pieces which are unique.

You’ve got it 75% correct to pinpoint a trait - he is predicted to be an ISFJ, differing only in the Introvertedness instead of Extrovertedness. Kanye is a man of mystery...people cannot really predict his type accurately as he changes a lot and says unpredictable things. I like Kanye West a lot. He's shallow at the first glance, yet very deep as well!

Especially if he lands up in the White House. His campaign is certainly starting on the right foot.

More a fun faq. FPAW. I see Max Verstappen (F1) doing his sponsor duty to get a Tag Heuer into the picture. Personally it is in memory of Jack Heuer his F1 history, a hard working man. I am proud Max do take sponsorship serious.

His message is too disorganized to pinpoint what he is really championing. Sad!

For example, Idris Alba’s rolex pieces - I cannot find any reference on the brand sponsoring him. Ed Sheeran is also much self-directed in his collection. Maybe, they have unannounced product placements, I cannot be too sure nowadays.
