I've always wanted a tachytele in white with the red pusher! Subie on sharkie for me:
My vintage Girard-Perregaux Gyromatic.
Can you tell me more about this timepiece?
This is the Hanhart Pioneer 417 ES Red Lion. It was a collaboration between Hanhart and The Urban Gentry that was released back in November ‘21 in a LE run of 150 pieces. It has a diameter of 39mm and a case height of 11.55mm. This is sold out. However, they did recently release a non-limited edition in 39mm. That one lacks the red pusher, which may or not be important to some folks.
I love the story of the pilot’s wife painting the pusher with her red nail polish so as to remember her and come home safe.
. . . since Tuesday. Your Hanhart chronograph is a brilliant design, as striking with two registers as the Speedmaster is with three. Best, Art PS - did ok at yesterday's pool tournament, took five consecutive games of 8-ball. When are you coming back to town?
