Happy Sport 30mm Automatic

Steel and diamonds: an alliance of workaday material and precious gems that gives rise to a perpetually reinvented icon – the Happy Sport. Now with a smaller, elegant dial and self-winding mechanical movement; something that PuristS have asked for over a decade.

"Have it all!" - A motto Chopard uses to address women that wear the Happy Sport 30mm Automatic. Previously available in the 36mm case, the same movement introduced in 2013 is found in the new "mini" version. The same qualities are embodied in the Happy Sport 30mm Automatic: feminine, technical, precious and modern.

The Happy Sport celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2013 and has become one of four star collections in the Chopard firmament. It is a good place to start as a watch enthusiast because the collection offers affordable steel watches through to the gold and gem-set extravaganzas; yet every one has the famous 'happy dancing diamonds' under the sapphire watch glass.

Twelve variants of the Happy Sport 30mm Automatic differ in the case materials, bracelets and gem-setting. We feature a couple for Christmas 2015 but all variants are available.

Happy Hearts: The perfect match

Moving diamonds and hearts: when two emblematic Chopard symbols meet, they guarantee a perfect harmony. A favourite with Caroline Scheufele, the heart motif has come to epitomise the Geneva-based Manufacture. This token of love and lucky charm is also a highly prized design element in the world of fashion which has put it firmly back in the spotlight. It has naturally found its place in the Happy Diamonds collection, introducing a collection in its own right named Happy Hearts. 

Happy Hearts feature fine slender white or rose gold chains dotted with wide open hearts and dainty hearts enclosing mobile diamonds. The supple nature of these jewellery creations. combined with the moving diamonds and the random nature of the motifs, compose a distinctive jewellery line.

This year, Chopard presented a completely new approach to the Happy Hearts collection.

Colour was added, with hearts of turquoise, onyx and mother-of-pearl amidst traditional openwork hearts. Two new jewellery pieces also appeared on the scene: a delightful pendant as well as a bangle graced with two hearts – one in colour and the other enclosing a moving white diamond – facing each other at each tip and performing a matching 'pas de deux'.

Pairing up with the Happy Sport watches, the Happy Hearts Collection is a natural accompaniment to accessorise the ensemble this Christmas.....
