TeutonicCarFan's original post asks whether collectors should broaden their horizons beyond traditional watch brands.

The dial reminds me of a car dashboard but in a cool way
Especially with the lion logo..very jaguar vibes
But in line with jumping hour watches and having retrograde. Although if they wanted to drive people to be interested in their higher end watches maybe a price break would lure people.
But there is something cool about it. At 20k maybe would leap, at 35-40k. Not for me.
Chanel knows how things are done. Make things appear scarce, and then the customers will be fooled into buying it. I hope they don't play games like that with this watch! That being said, it's actually quite nicely done. But do people buy watches because they're well made anymore? Or do people buy watches because certain models are in vogue on social media? Looking at the Nautilus and steel Daytona phenomenon... The latter is more prevalent!
If it was $25,000 - $30,000 it would be difficult to ignore this watch. At that price point, however, I will put my dollars elsewhere. Still, it is a beautiful watch.
