Cpt Scarlet introduces the Cartier Tank Américaine Flying Tourbillon, a timepiece that masterfully blends classic Cartier design with contemporary horology. This article delves into the watch's distinctive features, such as its manual-winding Calibre 9452 MC and the subtle 'C' within its flying tourbillon, inviting collectors to explore its enduring appeal and historical context within Cartier's haute horlogerie offerings.

How long ago was this released? The new Tank Chinoise models are hard to ignore, but this model is impressive in its own way. Thanks for showing.
It was 2008 and still looking good. It was also available in rose gold.
A very strong looking watch and top elegant.
and a strong presence on the wrist. I can definitely see you rocking this one my friend 🥂
I had the privilege of trying it on at a Cartier event 👀
It's very very nice! However, call me crazy, but I actually like the simple non-tourbillon version JUST AS MUCH! What's wrong with me? The tourbillon ads a lot of technical complexity, and the non-tourbillon version doesn't have a Geneva-Seal movement. But that non-tourbillon version does look great!
