i see that this watch is all about the new movement and if it works it is a great advancement. a nice clean looking movement without the obstructive rotor. the fact that the first model is merely a day date doesnt matter to me. shame about the rubber bezel, its an unnessesary design feature IMHO, but they know best i suppose. thanks for the great post Ming Graham
instead of a 'mystery' rotor with central transparent (crystal or plexiglass) portion, as they say, it may allow more space at the back for modules and complications. But why? Not that many people are complaining that they don't want their modules on the dial side of the movement. Even if the rotor is 'efficient' enough for regular achievement of 55h reserve, what is the advantage of having a backside to stick on more modules but have to engineer solutions to a fundamental rotor problem?
