Pingtsai's post captures the festive spirit as Bulgari transforms its flagship boutiques in Tokyo, New York, and Rome with spectacular Serpenti-inspired light installations for the holiday season. These grand displays, featuring a luminous serpent wrapping around buildings, highlight Bulgari's iconic Serpenti motif on an unprecedented scale. The article details the impressive dimensions and intricate lighting of these installations, particularly the Ginza Tower's 62-meter serpent with 120,000 LED bulbs.

Bulgari Lights Up the Holiday Season With Serpenti Sparkle

The Bulgari stores in Tokyo, New York and Rome are distinctive and memorable enough as they are. This holiday season Bulgari’s largest boutiques get some festive adornment that really strikes a lasting impression for shoppers as they make their way through the big city bustle. Starting this week the Serpenti will not only have a presence on the wrists of female Bulgari fans, but will also find itself wrapped around corners of buildings, multiplied over 600 times in size and sparkling like it never has before.

Never failing to make a statement, the Italian luxury brand has implemented a magnificent and decorative installation inspired by the Serpenti line for the exterior of their Tokyo, New York and Rome boutiques. Kicking off the holiday shopping season the spectacular display of lights is sure to rival any elaborate Christmas light display in anyone’s neighborhood.

The first store to receive the majestic Serpenti installation is the Bulgari boutique in the Ginza district in Tokyo. Built to be the largest Bulgari store in the world, the multi-level façade of the Ginza location provides the perfect backdrop for the decorative light display. The installation consists of a luminous serpent which is 62 meters long wrapping around the Bulgari Tower and reaching a height of almost 30 meters. The special installation is in the shape of the exclusive Serpenti diamond necklace. The surface is made up of more than 80 scales illuminated by 120,000 LED light bulbs and 2,000 meters of luminous tubing with a warm toned light.

The Bulgari Tower in Tokyo is the first of it’s kind for the brand, housing not only jewelry, watches, accessories, and perfume but also Bulgari’s first restaurant and bar in Japan. It provides the perfect place for the fashionable and sociable to meet, shop and grab a drink. The dining and bar areas take up two levels in the building and can be reached by elevators that go directly from the street level for those who want to bypass the temptation of buying a real Serpenti watch or necklace. Visitors and diners in the double-level eating and drinking space can catch excellent views of the Ginza district through the full glass façades. The tower also consists of a rooftop garden that is open to the public between the months of April and October. The Bulgari Tower in Tokyo is unlike any other Bulgari store in the world. It is no wonder the company chose it as the first to debut the Serpenti installation.

The incredible eye catching display, dubbed with the themes “mysterious sensuality” and “timeless beauty” will also find its way to the facades of the Bulgari boutiques on 5th Avenue and Via Condotti. After gawking at the famous window displays at Saks, you can continue your way up to 57th Street to see Bulgari’s contribution to the decorations on 5th Avenue. The beauty of the exterior exhibit almost begs a visit to these flagship stores just to catch a glimpse of a gigantic sparkling snake, a worthy addition to the holiday spirit that fills this time of the year.

I wonder if they give you better seating if you show a Bulgari watch on your wrist :) That would be awesome if they did! Cheers, Anthony
