Jlux's acquisition of the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Titanium marks a significant personal milestone, celebrating his 60th birthday and the start of retirement. This article delves into his choice of the titanium model, highlighting its unique aesthetic and technical merits. His detailed observations and accompanying photography offer a compelling look at a watch that has garnered increasing appreciation within the collector community.

A watch that seems to be increasingly popular within our small community...and the watch to celebrate my 60th birthday.

Due to the sanitary crisis no birthday party but nevertheless a new watch to celebrate this personal milestone...and the official start of my retirement!

I decided for the Ti version as I like the color scheme, the lightness of the case and the sandblasted finish.

An incredible array of different surfaces. The bracelet is superbly smooth and comfortable and really is an integral part of the fascinating design.

And of course the ultra-thin constructrion.

Speaking of ultra-thin : the movement is really spectacular....

...and very nicely hand finished at a level similar to what you would find from brands like GP or BP.

I was also very positively surprised by the level of accuracy : a deviation of + 5 seconds/per week !!!

Thanks for looking,
Gerard

Your choice of watch is spot on: I had the pleasure to try it on and it definitely appeals. This reference is very original, in line with the Bulgari history of producing creative pieces. And even better, the price is not crazy due to the metal used.
