Stonec's initial post captures the excitement of a new acquisition, showcasing the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic. This thread quickly evolves beyond initial impressions, delving into the practicalities of owning a timepiece with a micro-rotor movement. The subsequent discussion, particularly insights from seasoned collectors, provides invaluable context for understanding the winding efficiency and daily wear experience of this ultra-thin marvel.

FYI, in my experience with this watch is that the micro rotor isn't very efficient. There are some days where I'm very active (20,000 steps a day walking all over town) and the watch still stops in the middle of the night as if I wasn't very active. Hopefully you don't have this problem!
I’ll let you know how it runs after it comes back…
Love mine and it's been through lots of daily wear and water fun. Mine auto winds fine btw.
I tried it on at a boutique in Paris, and it has been on my mind ever since.
I’ve taken it to the gym for a great workout already, and has been on the winder over night. I don not baby my watches not by a long shot.
created a true timeless classic. An unique and unbelievable beautiful watch. Many congrats !! 😊 Best Thomas
