Bulgari
Several major themes this year from the Italian house Bulgari - the redesign of the iconic Serpenti, the facelift of the Calibro 303, further integration of Gerald Genta and Daniel Roth, and the collaboration with the New Zealand Rugby Team to create the "All Black" edition.
Starting with the Serpenti, in steel and yellow gold
Showing the amazing flexibility of the band, the result of a proprietary spring that's incorporated into the band.
Variatons of the Calibro 303, with thinner bezels and also steel bezels
The Calibro 131 in 43mm. The understated "Bulgari Bulgari" bezel, the integration of the lug and the strap, the construction of the case and of the buckle, all exhibit very high quality and sensible design. I feel this is the basis in which the house of Bulgari can be positioned as a haute horlogerie manufacture.
Based on Genta, now with a more understated and serious design, with the ceramic bezel.
The new Gefica, with the new Genta 1008 movement, with 24 hour GMT display and double moonphase for Northern and Southern hemisphere. It's my favorite of novelties.
Love the depth of the dial the the curved cut out of the subdials
Now, with much fanfare, we arrive at the The "All Blacks", a limited production piece based on the Daniel Roth Large Date Endurer Chronosprint movement (a continuous measurement of time elasped, with can be rest with button).
The 56mm steel case is treated with black DLC. The dial features a Maori Tattoo Koru
The sapphire glass in the back case has the semi-transparent smoked finish with the "All Blacks" logo.
The box is a full size Rugby ball. 1905 is the year that the All Blacks first competed internationally, and it is also the year that Bulgari opened its first shop on Rome's Via Condotti.
Hope you have enjoyed the post.
Yours Truly,
Jon (Z3)

I really like this updated version of the Calibro 303. And that new Gefica with moon face and GMT is really cool too. Thanks for posting the live report from Bulgari! Regards, ED-209
"All Blacks" special edition looks outstanding! My uncle who's lived in NZ for several years loves the team, I'm gonna have to send him the pics . Cheers, Filip
finally here... First saw the design/sketches over 2yrs back and it was very tempting as I've always thought given the size, GG could have done a lot more to the Gefica. Very pleased to see the result finally.
And the design is well balanced given the unique Gefica case. Can't wait to see this one in person! Cheers, Anthony
I love the new Gefica the most. The addition of the extra 2 functions does not clutter the dial at all. And the depth of the dial is done very nicely. Cant wait for an in dept review of that piece.
Thanks for the photos Much appreciated Regards
