Shortys home shares a captivating photo essay from the new Breguet Boutique opening in Duesseldorf, offering an exclusive look at several remarkable timepieces. His post highlights Breguet's 10Hz technology in both Classique and Type XXII models, alongside other significant references. This article delves into the aesthetic and technical marvels showcased, inviting readers to appreciate Breguet's diverse offerings.

The new Breguet Boutique in Duesseldorf opened its doors just one week ago and last Thursday I had the pleasure to spend a few hours to enjoy the amazing hospitality and to get up close with some true marvels.

Let’s start with two timepieces that both feature Breguet’s 10Hz technology but represent two different worlds within the Manufacture’s spectrum: the Classique Chronometrie and the Type XXII.

Here’s a watch I deeply fell in love with, the Classique Chronographe ref 5287:

The Marine in titanium with its slate grey dial:

The tonneau shaped Heritage Grande Date:

Last but not least, the amazing Hora Mundi piece unique in rose gold:

I hope you enjoyed the impressions.

Cheers

I'm very intrigued with the Heritage. A less popular offering from Breguet, but I think the guilloche patterns on it look fantastic, and the coin edging works well on the tonneau case. The 10 Hz classique is a favorite of mine as well!

Thank you for those appealing impressions, dear Henrik! The Classique Chronometrie, the Chronographe ref 5287, the Heritage Grande Date and especially the Hora Mundi are a feast for the eyes. Just to name a few: you will find reference to a ship rudder in the movement rotors and the deployant clasps, the case uses waves as crown protectors or pushers, the moving parts of the lugs are to resemble navigation marks sitting on top of buoys, the counterweight to the central seconds hands show th

Thanks for sharing. I rally like that GMT/Worldtime version where with one push of the pusher the watch resets to the city indicated. Easy to use. Plus a question: do you or does anybody have an idea why we only see Breguet with the 10 MHz technology? On paper it looks great but I don’t see others having picked up on it
