Jlux shares his enthusiasm for Breguet with the acquisition of the Ref. 7337, a piece that perfectly embodies the brand's distinctive aesthetic. His detailed photos and observations highlight the unique design elements and technical refinements that make this timepiece a favorite among collectors, offering a deep dive into its appeal.
I definitely have a sweet spot for Breguet.
The specific brand DNA with coin-edged cases, guilloche dials, blued “Breguet” hands and a somewhat eccentric dial layout is very pleasing to my eyes.
From the current collection , the ref. 7337 is one of my absolute favorites.
Last week the watch was delivered to me and I would like to take the opportunity to share a few pictures with you.

Various beautiful guilloche patterns are present on the dial.

The movement is the automatic cal. 502.3 QSE1 which is based on an original F. Piguet design but completely internalized and improved by Breguet with, amongst others, a frequency increase from 2.5 to 3hz and the use of silicon for the balance spring … and nicely finished.

The case has very classical dimensions at 39 x 9.9 mm and adds to the elegance of the watch.

And finally a picture of the somewhat grim looking moon.

Thanks for looking,
Gerard
The Breguet Classique 7337 is a distinguished member of the Classique collection, embodying the brand's foundational aesthetic principles. It features a traditional round case and a dial layout that pays homage to historical Breguet designs, offering a contemporary interpretation of classic horology.
This reference is equipped with the self-winding Caliber 591A, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and providing a power reserve of 38 hours. The 18k rose gold case measures 37mm in diameter, with a sapphire crystal protecting the silver dial. The movement is visible through a sapphire case back, revealing its intricate finishing. It is water-resistant to 30 meters.
The Classique 7337 is recognized by collectors for its refined execution of traditional complications, including a moon phase display and a retrograde date. Its understated elegance and adherence to Breguet's design codes make it a significant piece for those appreciating classical watchmaking with a contemporary size.
Great looking Breguet! :) Interesting layout of the rotor. Best Blomman
with lot of Breguet DNA Bravo & congrats Sincerely Damjan and of course thank you for sharing this amazing shots
All is great in this Watch, except, maybe the movement, which is not as appealing as the rest. I would rather prefer a solid case back on such a beauty! Congratulations, this is really a superb catch. A TRUE Breguet Watch. Best, Nicolas.
Yes, the rotor layout is somewhat special. A kind of a BIG micro-rotor .... Best, Gerard
The movement is looking quite interesting with it's decentralized rotor. I looked at it in magnification and find the finish also to be very well done. So, in this case, I am pretty pleased with the choice of a transparent back. That being said, the main attraction of this watch remains of course the dial side ... Best, Gerard
Thanks for sharing the beauty of this watch with us here! S
