Nicolas (amanico) presents the Breguet Ref. 3330 in white gold, a timepiece he champions as a true icon of elegance. His post invites readers to appreciate its understated beauty and perfect proportions, challenging perceptions of its 35.8mm case size. This article delves into the community's perspective on what makes this reference, and Breguet generally, so distinctive.

The reference 3330 represents Breguet's Classique series in a compact 34mm case configuration. This particular reference offers the traditional proportions associated with classical dress watch design, positioned within Breguet's core collection as a refined timepiece suitable for formal wear.
The 34mm case is crafted from 18k yellow gold and houses an automatic movement. The silver dial provides contrast against the precious metal case, while a sapphire crystal protects the watch face. Water resistance extends to 30 meters, with a fixed bezel completing the case construction.
This reference appeals to collectors seeking a traditionally-sized dress watch from an established manufacture. The 34mm case diameter aligns with vintage proportions, making it suitable for those preferring smaller case sizes or collectors focused on classical watch dimensions. The yellow gold case material and automatic movement place it within the accessible luxury segment of Breguet's offerings.
There's something strangely right about white gold Breguets. Their cases look so rich and lustrous in WG!
A true sign of a gentleman, to own a Breguet that isn't out of place with a fine tailored suit and English made shoes.
...in whatever metal one chooses. I love the background color of the day and date.
I do think it's quite small. By sheer luck, I saw one in person yesterday and it seemed rather diminutive. But if your wrist can tolerate it, this is one Breguet to definitely have in the collection. The new version, the 7337, is unfortunately marred by the subseconds dial which really kills the dial harmony. Cheers, John
A 39mm 3330 would be perfection.
It works equally well casually. One of 3 or 4 true Breguet icons.
