I too am like you as I try to only buy new watches with box and papers but unlike you my collection is five times smaller!
Some LV watches come in a trunk, literally(!), making that Duometre box look oh so petite & dainty 😹
most of these boxes, especially the regular cardboard ones are of no particular meaning/value thus only burden the owner with somehow preserving them. The ones that are undeniably beautiful, despite being somewhat large, are the quality wood boxes like Breguet and JLC in your images.... Otherwise, just give us a leather/textile pouch and that's entirely a propos! Cheers, Filip
So much so that I've started to think I should seek watches *without* box and papers, since I'm happier not to deal with them!
And we all know how such a stupid missing box can influence resale value.
If only I could finally give up on new watches for good!
