MichaelC's initial post introduces the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar in titanium, a significant release initially targeting the US market. His enthusiasm for this new reference, featuring a distinct dial, sparked a lively discussion among collectors about its design, availability, and the evolving landscape of luxury watch acquisition.

...but it's quite nice. I wonder if I'd be disappointed paying $80k and wearing such a light watch?
I am rather pleased with this one. And I prefer the US dial to the ones targeted in Japan and China (I tried for the latter, black and grey dial with the small red accents).
Maybe we can get a combo discount - LOL
I am wondering what will be around the corner... Peter
I wonder what these look like in-person. Personally, I am a huge fan of titanium. The coolest part is how it self-heals with oxidation.
A 39mm we know. But what else is lurking?
