So I got my first bad scratch on my saxonia moon phase. By way of disclaimer, I don't treat my watches as safe queens. Quite the opposite. I wear my watches. This watch in particular is probably my most worn watch this calendar year. And I don't mind all the little scratches along the polished bezel. Those are inevitable from a shirt cuff and over time will blend together. However, getting a noticeable scratch on the brushed matte surface of the case really does bother me. It bothers me because I always thought this matte surface would more or less stay "perfect". Is that an unrealistic expectation?

Also, any thoughts on having Lange touch this up whenever it comes due for service? I know Lange doesn't make their own cases so not sure how this would work. Would love to hear anyone's experience if they were in a similar situation. Thanks!

Looks like a very straightforward fix to me, they would definitely be able to fix it for you (as would any reputable watch repair guy, emphasis on ‘reputable’!) [nt]

I understand that you feel bad with that scratch, but actually, i dont care about even the bigger scratches after just a few days even though i always think it would bother me.

So i hope for you to feel the same soon.
