For Your Safety: A Message to All Buyers

  • New Seller Notice: If a seller is new to the Collectors Market with less than 200 posts. While everyone starts somewhere, we strongly recommend using a secure payment method like PayPal Goods & Services or a credit card for purchases for buyer protection.
  • Critical Security Alert: Established accounts can be compromised. Always request a custom timestamp (a photo of the watch with a note of your choosing) from any seller, regardless of their transaction history. For the highest security, a live video call is the best way to confirm the seller physically has the watch.

If a seller refuses these basic checks or you see any red flags, stop the transaction immediately.

Remember: A real seller with a genuine watch has nothing to hide and will understand your need for caution.

Officine Panerai L´Egiziano - PAM00341

Part of a single owner collection.

In 1956 the Egyptian Navy commissioned a watch from Panerai that would become known as L'Egiziano. Its formidably strong 60mm case featured a novel rotating bezel with four studs to indicate immersion times - capable of withstanding depths of up to 200 metres - and an impressive eight-day power reserve. This 2009 titanium model honours its predecessor.

The PAM00341 pays homage to the 1956 Panerai Reference 2/56 which was made for the Egyptian Navy Commandos. Panerai only made 50 of these watches, which are exceedingly rare. The reedition is extremely close in design. The only difference is that the original 1956 Panerai lacked fluted spinning bezel teeth. Also, the GPF 2/56 had a 16" Angelus 8-day movement which had the subsidiary second-hand subdial at 9 o’clock. With this limited edition release, Panerai opted for the calibre P.2002/7.

What to look out on this model:
